Association of Family and Conciliation Courts has an excellent resource page.  The resource center list resources for professionals and resources for families. The resource page is available to members and non-members of AFCC.  It lists the most current resources in the field of separation and divorce. 

Overcoming Barriers Inc

Overcoming  Barriers is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support a family systems approach to children resisting or rejecting a parent in post separation families.  Their website offers a good amount of information about families facing parent child contact problem issues.

The Massachusetts AFCC chapter has a friendly website with resources for the public. MAAFCC just published this incredibly useful guide, edited by Stephanie Tabashnek, Psy.D.

The Florida Chapter of AFCC is an organization that utilizes education, research and advocacy to improve the lives of children and families through the collaborative resolution of family conflict.  Their upcoming virtual Webinar series offers programs from November through February that are useful in family law practice.

High Conflict Coparenting: Interventions for Children’s Alignment and Resistance.  An online course presented in collaboration with William James College.  This is a level one, multi-media course, designed for therapists (and family law attorneys who want understand the therapeutic process) to learn best practices of working with families in conflict where s child is refusing contact with one parent.  Dr. Ward was the course developer and instructor; the course features experts in the field.

Overcoming Parent-Child Contact Problems: Family Interventions (Level II). An online course presented in collaboration with William James College.  Beginning December 2021.  This is a level two, multi-media course, designed for therapists working with families where a child is resisting conflict with a parent.  The modules go into more depth than the level one course.  Dr. Ward developed this course and teaches it with experts in this field.
